Inquirer's Seminar

Learning More About SPPC

After attending worship services, you may have questions about our church that haven’t been addressed yet. When did we begin? Who are our leaders? What do we believe? Or maybe some things have caught your attention and you want to find out more. If you’re interested in knowing more about us, you’ll want to attend an Inquirer’s Seminar.

The Inquirer’s Seminar is an informal gathering on Friday evening and Saturday morning where you have the opportunity to learn more about St. Petersburg Presbyterian from our pastor. On Friday evening we share a meal together, hear the story of how SPPC began and discuss our overall mission. On Saturday morning we meet for a continental breakfast and discuss the beliefs and organization of our church. There’s also time for Q&A — a chance to get answers to questions about our church that might be on your mind. Nursery is available for the Saturday sessions, but only by reservation.

Attending an Inquirer’s Seminar does not imply that you plan to become a member of St. Petersburg Presbyterian, but it is required for those who desire membership. We offer these seminars in September, January and May.

Contact the church office at 821-4195 for more information or to register.
